In order for MJC Partners to provide our tax and business services we utilise a number of online cloud computing services. We use these to collect, communicate and store your information in order for us to provide our services to you.
APES 305 terms of engagement requires members in public practice to document and communicate certain matters in relation to the use of cloud computing service.
Outlined below is a list of the various software used by MJC Partners and details regarding the location of data storage as well as the privacy and security standards.

MYOB uses Microsoft Azure and Amazon Web Services (AWS) to host data across its platform, both of which are hosted in Australia. MYOB follows industry best practices for security including the globally recognised ISO 31000 Risk Management Standard. MYOB also holds an ISO 27001 Certification, an internationally recognised information security management standard that specifies leading practices and comprehensive security controls. MYOB is subject to Australian privacy law.

Xero uses Amazon Web Services (AWS) to host data for its online and mobile services with servers located in the US. AWS is a top-tier, third-party hosting provider. Xero is subject to Australian privacy law and holds its data storage in the United States.

In providing our SMSF and ASIC Company Compliance services to you, we utilise BGL and CAS360 using cloud computing provided by BGL Corporate Solutions Pty Ltd (BGL). All of BGL’s data is hosted in Australia only by Amazon Web Services (AWS). Both BGL and AWS have ISO 27001 Certification, an internationally recognised information security management standard that specifies leading practices and comprehensive security controls. Reckon Accounts Hosted and Reckon One data is located in datacentres operated by Amazon Web Services (AWS). AWS data centres comply with many recognised international and national standards including PCI DSS Level 1, ISO 27001 and ISO 9001. All Reckon Accounts Hosted and Reckon One servers are specifically located within Australia in the AWS Asia Pacific (Sydney) Region.
